Village shop, farm shop and Indian restaurant still open

YOU DON’T HAVE to go far to find something good to eat in Aberlady – just about everything you need is within walking distance.

Aberlady’s village shop, now Margiotta’s, was closed for just one day to be re-stocked by its new owners, who are known for their small, family-run chain of high-quality food and wine stores in Edinburgh.

They’re open seven days a week, 7am to 6pm every day except for Sunday, when they close at 4pm. You might find some familiar faces among the staff.

Gosford Bothy farm shop, meanwhile, is closed on Sunday and Monday but open Tuesday to Saturday from 9.30am to 5pm. They regret that they don’t have the staff or the stock to offer deliveries.

Keep up to date with them through their Facebook page, or call them on 01875 871234.

The Grace of India, our ever-popular Indian restaurant, is now open in the evenings only for takeaways and deliveries. Hours are Monday to Thursday and Sunday, 5pm to 9pm; Friday and Saturday, 5pm to 10pm.

Sadly they don’t have any online presence at all, but you can phone on 01875 871111.
