Aberlady artists show their support for carers

TWO OF THE village’s many artists and craftspeople are putting their creative talents into new ways to support health workers and carers. Both are contributing a proportion of their profits to help The Makery in Dunbar to produce visors.
Cheryl Jones, whose greetings cards are a familiar sight in local shops, has produced a special card reading ‘We love U NHS’, with 100 per cent of profits going to the cause.

The initial print run sold out in a week. The sale of 60 cards in the first 24 hours meant Cheryl was able to contribute £200 to The Makery for materials.
Meanwhile, printmaker Kate Millbank has decided to keep open her online shop and is donating 50 per cent of the profits from her beautiful plywood birds.
You can place orders with both artists through their websites, details below.
